Who’s That Girl

There’s a new blog in town which means there is also a new blogger.  Who is she?

Isabel P. Picard

She is I. I am Isabel. A woman in her (still early) thirties. An employee. A daughter. A younger sister. A friend. A public relations’ director. A fervent social media user. A confident. A friend to beauty bloggers and fashionistas. An avid reader. A make-up fanatic. A skin care and small jars crazed girl. An individual afflicted by dermatographia. An esthetician. A former cosmetician. A music aficionada. A rap, hip hop and rnb listener (shocking, I know!). An auntie. A Virgo. An animal lover. A pet owner. A BlackBerry addict. A new iPhone user. A coffee and tea drinker. A dark chocolate lover. A dreamer. An emotional, caring, sensitive gal. An owner of the entire Golden Girls (yes, the hit sitcom from the '80's!) DVD collection.  A bilingual francophone. A lactose intolerant person. A fast-pace walker and a heavy-footed driver. A private school graduate. A home office worker. A wanna be cook. A perfectionist. A tweeter.

I studied, graduated and then worked as an esthetician in a beauty salon. I joined Marcelle over ten years ago, never left, and never looked back. I fell in love with cosmetics and skin care when I was just a toddler, making over my grandmother with heavy coats of lipstick and eye shadow, giving her pedicures and massaging her hands with layers of cream. I was wearing a purple lipstick to school when I was just in grade 2; an Annabelle Kohl Eyeliner by the time I was in grade 3; had my own jar of Marcelle Moisture Cream during my last year of elementary school and also used their concealer to hide my blemishes all through high school. We were meant to be.

Make-up and skin care have always been a passion. I am also passionate about writing and surfing the Internet. What more could I wish for when I was asked to combine my passions for work purposes? I am nothing short of delighted.

As the Marcelle blogger, I will feature articles to provide information, entertain and to make our lives easier and simplified. The Marcelle blog will occasionally feature articles from collaborators on a variety of topics. Feel free to comment and suggests ideas you would like to know more about.

I am here. I am the real person behind a computer screen and the author behind these lines, in English and in French. I am a Marcelle woman. And perhaps you are about to discover you are a Marcelle woman too.

I love your Product. I have used Marcelle for many years and been very happy, however my husband gave me a beautiful gift set at Christmas that I never use because the new silver cap on the day cream comes off in my hand and I am going around with little sivler flecks on my face. The same with the foundation. Maybe just a bad batch, but not good. I have to say that the product is wonderful the only one I will use.

Louise: Thank you for your comment! We are glad our products are sastisfactory and meet your skin's needs. We did have an issue with flaking caps and we're glad to inform you it's been resolved! Our skin care products have very recently been introduced in new packaging. Same formulas; new bottles, caps and jars. Our Consumer Relations Department will contact you later this week.

I just came to post an issue to the website and read Louise Johnston's. That would have been the identical comments that I would have made! Am a long time Marcelle user, but the lid on the New Age anti-wrinkle and firming day cream is peeling off and gets all over my face and hands. Love the product, but someone should look into this issue as it's rather annoying ... never happened with any other product before.
