Jenn Heil is an Olympic champion, obviously, but she is first and foremost a committed citizen involved in a variety of causes throughout the world, such as BECAUSE I’M A GIRL, a worldwide movement mobilizing millions of citizens from all over this planet to defend women’s rights and interests.

Did you know that there are more than one billion people living in extreme poverty around the world and that 70% of them are women? Did you know that more than 20 million girls cannot go to school? That women must deal with violence more than men?

 The priority of BECAUSE I’M A GIRL is to fight for a brighter future for all women of the world. To provide medical care, a good education and financial support in an effort to end the cycle of poverty once and for all.
